After cementing its rightful place in the restaurant scene with the first Calaveras Cantina, the restaurant group behind its success wanted to expand its fanbase to a second location in Boca Raton. While remaining true to some choice original design elements, Sabal Design was also trusted to take on new details including the incorporation of locally sourced, hand carved Mexican columns into the bar, and unique finishing techniques such as Shou Sugi Ban to pull off a fresh take on a Mexican cantina.
